Frozen Fire
and Waterfalls ( Picture Gallery )
Enjoy the beauty
of the waterfalls contrasted to the dramatic scenery when lava meets
the sea. This adventuresome trip is redesigned on each occasion
depending on weather and the number of guests. It begins at the
breathtaking Akaka Falls and ventures southward past the Wild West
town of Pahoa. Your tour may include Lava Tree State Park where a
lava flow overran the jungle and trees encasing them forever in lava.
You may visit Ahalanui warm springs, with its volcanically heated water.
We may visit the sight of the finest black sand beach in the world, Kaimu
or a standing survivor of the eruption, Uncle Robert’s Hawaiian Village
and Snack Shop. The guide, the group size, location of lava and the weather will determine the exact route..
BRING: Swim wear, sunscreen, footwear, water, lunch,
and light jacket. |
